The Pitztal Tourist Board operates several services accessible via the Internet (hereinafter referred to as TVB Pitztal services) such as pitztal.com(www.pitztal.com), Pitztal Blog (https://blog.pitztal.com), Pitz Alpine Glacier Trail(www.pitz-alpine.at), Glacier Marathon(www.gletschermarathon.at) and Pitztal Wild Face(www.pitztal-wildface.com). With this privacy policy, the Pitztal Tourist Board would like to explain to you which personal data is processed for which purpose and in which form for TVB Pitztal services.

We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. Personal data (in particular name, address and e-mail address) will only be processed by us in accordance with the provisions of Austrian data protection law. The use of our TVB Pitztal services is generally possible without providing personal data. Insofar as personal data is collected on our website, this is always done on a voluntary basis as far as possible. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent. The personal data you provide (such as name, address and e-mail address) will be used by Tourismusverband Pitztal as follows:

- For the booking of accommodation, a package, an experience offer, a voucher or the creation of a non-binding accommodation inquiry on TVB Pitztal services, it is necessary to provide your contact details. You only have to enter the fields marked in red (name, address and e-mail address, as well as name and date of birth of the travel participants), as well as data relating to the request (e.g. period of stay). Additional information (e.g. telephone or fax number) is not mandatory.

- To contact us via a contact form or to create a group request on TVB Pitztal Diensten, you must provide your contact details. You only have to enter the fields marked in red (name, address, e-mail address and telephone number), as well as data relating to the request (e.g. period of stay). - To create/book a keycard (mountain railway ticket) on TVB Pitztal services, it is necessary to enter your personal data. You only have to enter the fields marked in red (name, address, gender, date of birth and e-mail address), as well as data relating to the request (e.g. validity period). Additional information (e.g. company) is not mandatory.

- To register for the Pitztal Almenbus on TVB Pitztal Services, you must provide your contact details. You only have to enter the fields marked in red (name and telephone number), as well as data concerning the request (e.g. day of departure). Additional information (such as a note) is not mandatory.

- To order brochures and store articles on TVB Pitztal services, it is necessary to provide your contact details. You only have to enter the fields marked in red (name, address and e-mail address).

- You have the option of subscribing to a newsletter on the TVB Pitztal services. In addition to the mandatory e-mail address, you can also optionally enter your name. If you no longer wish to receive the newsletter, you can unsubscribe using the unsubscribe option provided in all newsletters. In this case, the data provided in the course of subscribing to the newsletter will be deleted.

The personal data provided by you will only be processed and used by the operator to the extent that it is necessary for processing the request and/or providing the requested service. When participating in the competitions offered on TVB Pitztal services, personal data (name and address) are collected. By participating in the competition, you give your conclusive consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR that the personal data you have entered will be stored by the operator and used for the implementation of the competition, in particular for the assignment of the participation applications to the respective participants and for the determination and notification of the winners. They will be stored for the duration of the competition and for the processing of any claims for prizes and damages and then deleted. We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (hereinafter "Google"), to improve and optimize the TVB Pitztal services. The TVB Pitztal services use Google Remarketing. Google Remarketing is an advertising service from Google that can be used to target previous visitors to the website. Facebook Custom Audiences is an advertising service of Facebook Inc, 1601 S California Ave, Palo Alto, CA, 94304, USA, with which previous visitors to the website can be advertised in a targeted manner. 11.2 Data transfer through social plugins

TVB Pitztal services use a live chat of the company Userlike UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Probsteigasse 44-46, 50670 Cologne, Germany. You can use the live chat like a contact form to chat with our employees in almost real time. The following personal data is collected when you start the chat:

- Date and time of the call,
- Browser type/version,
- IP address,

All our employees have been and will continue to be trained in data protection and how to handle customer data securely and confidentially. All our employees are obliged to maintain confidentiality and have signed an addendum to their employee contracts to commit to maintaining confidentiality and observing data protection.

By accessing the website www.pitztal.com, the chat widget is loaded in the form of a JavaScript file from AWS Cloudfront. The chat widget technically represents the source code that is executed on your computer and enables the chat.

In addition, the Pitztal services save the history of the live chats. This serves the purpose of sparing you extensive explanations of the history of your request and for the constant quality control of our live chat offer. Processing is therefore permitted in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 letter f GDPR. If you do not wish this, you are welcome to inform us using the contact details below. Saved live chats will then be deleted by us immediately.

The storage of chat data also serves the purpose of ensuring the security of our information technology systems. This is also our legitimate interest, which is why processing is permitted under Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
