The “skiing rules track” in the
family-friendly Hochzeiger ski resort
The family-friendly Hochzeiger ski resort provides a great deal of information regarding safety on the pistes. To promote knowledge and awareness of skiing rules for skiing visitors of all ages, Hochzeiger mountain railways have created a joint concept in collaboration with its partners Uniqa and Sunkid.
When purchasing your ski pass or booking a ski course at the ski school you will receive a handy information leaflet regarding skiing rules. The leaflet presents the FIS alpine skiing rules with the aid of graphics suitable for children. Furthermore stickers with these are also affixed inside the Hochzeiger gondolas to outline these internationally applicable rules.
The skiing rules are general rules of conduct. They apply for ski pistes worldwide and are comparable to international road traffic regulations. At important junctions within the ski resort itself you will also find comic drawings of the skiing rules displayed next to the panoramic piste information boards to allow skiers to brush up on their knowledge.
Let’s make learning fun!
Pitzi is the mascot of Pitztal. The little alpine ibex was actively incorporated into the concept. A highlight for the children is the skiing rules track next to the Zirbenbahn. On a very easy Swiss pine downhill run, Pitzi and his friends explain the 10 alpine skiing rules on illustrated information boards. Little visitors to the ski resort can explore the rules step by step. The comic drawings make it especially easy for pre-school children to learn and understand skiing rules. The most important of which is to show consideration for others.
