ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT
In accordance with Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2018/1523 of October 11, 2018 establishing a model accessibility statement pursuant to Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies, here is the accessibility statement.
Declaration on accessibility
The Pitztal Tourist Board endeavors to make its website accessible in accordance with § 14b of the Tyrolean Anti-Discrimination Act 2005 implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 October 2016 on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies
(OJ L 327, 2.12.2016, p. 1) without barriers.
This accessibility statement applies to the website www.pitztal.com
Status of compatibility with the requirements
This website is partially compliant with conformance level AA of the "Web Content Accessibility Guidelines Web - WCAG 2.1" according to the applicable harmonized European standard "European Standard EN 301 549 V2.1.2 (2018-08)" due to the following incompatibilities and exceptions.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:
(a) Incompatibility with accessibility regulations
The alternative text is missing for some images so that this information is not accessible for screen reader users. This means that the WCAG success criterion 1.1.1 (non-text content) is not fulfilled. We plan to complete these missing labels on an ongoing basis.
b) Disproportionate load
Our videos are hosted and published on the video platform Youtube. It is not possible to provide the required audio descriptions for some of these videos. This means that WCAG success criterion 1.2.5 (audio description recorded) is not met. We are of the opinion that a correction would represent a disproportionate burden in terms of the accessibility regulations.
c) The content does not fall within the scope of the applicable legislation
Live videos are not subtitled. This means that WCAG success criterion 1.2.4 (live subtitles) is not met. We do not plan to subtitle live videos, as live videos are exempt from Directive (EU) 2016/2102.
d) PDF and Word documents
PDF and Word documents used on the website are not accessible. For example, they are not tagged so that screen reader users cannot read them or cannot read them with sufficient structural information. This means that WCAG success criterion 4.1.2 (name, role, value) is not fulfilled. If you require content from one of our PDF or Word documents, please contact us. We will endeavor to provide you with the information in a different form.
The presentation of our website is based on current technical possibilities and standards. If you notice any problems with the realization of individual elements, please pass on your suggestions to us.

Enforcement proceedings
If you do not receive a satisfactory response from the above-mentioned contact option, you can submit a complaint to the Ombudsman's Office for Accessible Internet and Mobile Applications of the Province of Tyrol. The complaint will be examined to determine whether it is a violation of the provisions of § 14b of the Tyrolean Anti-Discrimination Act by bodies of the province, the municipalities, the associations of municipalities and the self-governing bodies established by provincial law. If the complaint is justified, the ombudsman's office must make recommendations for action to the province or the legal entities concerned and propose measures to remedy the deficiencies in question. Further information on the complaints procedure can be found on the website of the Ombudsman's Office for Accessible Internet and Mobile Applications.
