Plan P projects in the Pitztal - tourism development
Year-round tourism
To combat the labor shortage and strengthen the region, we want to promote year-round tourism. The aim is to equalize peak seasons, strengthen off-peak seasons and create year-round jobs. Extending the opening hours of restaurants and cable cars should support this goal.
Pitz Park Wenns development
We want to modernize the Pitz Park Wenns in order to be able to offer year-round bad weather leisure activities . We are planning to rebuild the facility, add a sauna area and heat the outdoor swimming pool for the winter. In this way, we want to create an attractive bad weather program for all seasons .
Alternative winter offers
In order to offer a diverse range of winter activities, our aim is to expand the cross-country skiing infrastructure and to strengthen winter hiking in the Pitztal. In addition, for example, an ice skating rink is to be created to offer families an additional leisure opportunity away from the slopes and to enrich the winter experience in the Pitztal.
Hochzeiger toboggan run
We want to improve the tobogganing facilities on the Hochzeiger by renovating and expanding the natural toboggan run. This expansion should strengthen and diversify winter sports activities and offer an attractive alternative to classic skiing in the Hochzeiger ski area.
Summer offers Rifflsee
In order to further strengthen summer tourism in the Pitztal, we want to further develop the Rifflsee area. New adventure offers are planned that will expand the mountain summer experience and make the Pitztal even more attractive for nature and mountain lovers.
