The Pitztal faces the challenge of sustainably securing and further developing its attractiveness as a living, tourism and economic area. In order to achieve this goal, the Pitztal Tourism Association, the two mountain railroads, all four municipalities and committed citizens have joined forces under the umbrella brand "Lebenswertes Pitztal". Together we are pursuing the goal of creating a forward-looking and sustainable development for the Pitztal.

The initiative unites local movements on an independent, non-partisan platform that offers space for innovative and sustainable ideas . In this way, we promote a strong regional identity and position the Pitztal as an attractive living space for locals, a sustainable destination for guests and a competitive economic and tourism region for the future.

Our world is changing. That is why we have initiated a comprehensive development process for the valley with Plan P in order to meet future challenges. As a central platform and driver of economic development, we are joining forces to sustainably strengthen the Pitztal as a tourism destination.
Our aim is to offer guests an unforgettable experience and at the same time to operate responsibly in order to secure the economic future of the locals. This requires the active commitment of all those responsible in the region.
Plan P, unanimously adopted by the Pitztal's management bodies, forms the roadmap for future tourism and social development. It is based on intensive discussions and workshops and includes measures and projects in the areas of mobility, tourism development and quality of life. A particular highlight is the future lab, in which young entrepreneurs from the valley were actively involved in the development process.
With Plan P, we are laying the foundations for sustainable development that integrates economic, social and ecological aspects. In this way, we are shaping the tourism of the future and securing the quality of life and economic stability in the Pitztal in the long term.

In the Pitztal Future Lab, we bring together young entrepreneurs from all sectors to work together on innovative projects for our region. By actively involving the "next generation", we create a dynamic space that promotes creativity and innovation. The future lab serves as a safe space in which new ideas can be freely developed and tested. The habitat management acts as a connecting element between the future lab and the tourism association to ensure the sustainable and future-oriented development of the Pitztal.
