St. Leonhard im Pitztal is a small municipality with only around 1,500 inhabitants, but a huge municipal area of 223,4 km². The village is located in the rear Pitztal valley and stretches along a narrow valley floor, on which hamlets and villages are spread over a length of approx. 25 km. From Wiese to Schußlehn to Mittelberg, there are a total of 30 hamlets, each with its own charm, its own history and its own advantages.
