Take the cable car up to icy heights in comfort: Experience the unique nature on the Pitztal Glacier on a high-altitude hike - or with coffee and cake in Austria's highest coffee house, Café 3440.

Hiking Hochzeiger

Hiking on the Hochzeiger is a nature experience for everyone. The hiking area in Pitztal offers 100 km of marked hiking trails in four alpine altitude levels from 1,450 to 2,971 meters. Get to know the Swiss stone pine - also known as the "queen of the alps" - on the Hochzeiger. A visit to the ZirbenPark enchants the senses. Go on an exciting journey of discovery with the mascots Pitzi and Gratsch.

Raft ahoy on the Rifflsee

The Rifflseebahn cable car takes you directly up to the Rifflsee, Austria's highest mountain lake at 2,232 m. On the raft trip across the lake, you can enjoy unique views of the mountains and learn exciting stories about the Pitztal.
