This section of the valley hike takes you from Mittelberg along the wild romantic River Pitze to Stillebach. The broad hiking trail is not just perfect for walking with prams but also popular with mountain bikers. The trail takes you past numerous waterfalls and at the end of the hike you can cool down and refresh your feet in an icy cold Kneipp hydrotherapy pool. Return to your starting point via public bus. This valley hike starts at Stillebach along the River Pitze to Wiese, the actual start of the trail in St Leonhard. It is an easy walk past waterfalls that spring from the Kaunergrat and Geigenkamm ridges. Some waterfalls can also be experienced from viewing platforms, especially the Söllberg waterfall in Wiese offers a highlight at the end of the walk. Return to your starting point by public bus. Sculpture trail

The sculpture trail starts directly next to the valley station of Rifflseebahn gondola. Wheelchair users can easily access the first section of the trail as the stone sculptures are erected next to the tarmac trail. There is only a minor incline at the start where little help is required. Some of the stone sculptures are right next to the trail, others can be viewed from afar. Overall, this wheelchair-accessible section of the sculpture trail takes approx. half an hour and it returns to the starting point in the village adjacent to the main road.

Swiss Trac Tour:The valley hiking trail from Mandarfen to Wiese (ca. 22 km) can be navigated either by electric handbike or sections of it by Swiss-Trac. If you are using an electric handbike, we would advise to start in Mandarfen and take the route out of the valley. The route is overall challenging as it repeatedly features steep inclines and varied terrain. There are several sections through grazing pastures. We would recommend the following sections for Swiss-Trac users:
- Mandarfen and Neurur (ca. 6 km)
- Stillebach and Eggenstall (ca. 4 km)
- Enger and Wiese (ca. 5 km)
Easy walking route Sunna Alm - Riffelseehütte

Follow the agricultural road from the starting point towards the catered mountain Riffelseehütte. Return via the same route.
Chapel Cross-country skiing trail

This almost 3.1 km long loop is ideal for beginners and returners. You start from the car park in Stillebach or from the Biohotel Stillebach to the chapel before Weixmannstall without any significant differences in altitude.

Setting out from the bus stop, walk out of the valley until you reach a bridge. Before the bridge follow the groomed winter hiking trail on the right. This will take you along the Pitze river through the wild and romantic Kitzgarten gorge until you reach the hamlet Wiese. To return, follow the same route or, for ease, use the shuttle bus to return to your starting point. To shorten your wait for the bus, stop for a coffee at Hotel Gasthof Wiese.

Starting point is the bus stop in Stillebach. Cross the bridge next to the barn. Then turn left and walk along the groomed winter hiking trail until you reach the next bridge. After crossing the bridge, continue to walk on the right towards the hamlet Weixmannstall, past the chapel and the frozen lake to the hamlet Stillebach. From the hotel Biohotel Stillebach you return via the tarmac road to your starting point. The hotel's restaurant Grünzeug is an inviting opportunity to have a break.
