Circular route Luis Trenker Trail

Start
car park Luis-Trenker-Steig (743m)
Finish
car park Luis-Trenker-Steig (740m)
From the starting point at the car park of the Luis Trenker Trail cross the road and walk along the popular path through the Pitzenklamm gorge. At the end of the Luis Trenker Trail, where the Pitze joins the Inn river, follow the tarmacked Inn valley cycle path (Inntalradweg) to the right to the entrance of the path of the gorge. This leads to the hamlet Wald/Niederried. At the fountain and the bus stop Wald Wendestelle follow the tarmacked side road on the right after approximately 100 metres that leads to a farm track. Follow it to the 94 m high suspension bridge. After crossing the bridge have a break at Bungy Stüberl. Refreshed, continue to walk on the side street Pitzenebene to the bus stop Arzl i.P. Pitzenebene. Then follow the path at the bus stop Parkplatz Bungy Stüberl down as it leads back to the starting point. Should you be afraid of heights continue to walk to the fire station from the hamlet Wald. From there turn right and follow the road to the end of the village. A forest path on the right will then take you back to the starting point. Caution, you will have to walk the last 100 m run along the roadside. (Luis Ternker Trail is closed in winter)

Hike to Aifneralm mountain hut

Start
Car park near the hamlet Puschlin (1518m)
Finish
Car park near the hamlet Puschlin (1518m)
Swiss Trac Tour: Start: Please do not take the trail starting straight at the Naturparkhaus, as this features a short section that is not accessible by Swiss-Trac.
Start this route at the car park near the hamlet of Puschlin. Initially follow a well-prepared forest path. You will cover some altitude on this initial steep uphill section. Please note that you should never leave the main path. It leads past beautiful alpine meadows and after approx. 2/3 of the way, the surface of the path will become a little rougher and harder to navigate. After ca. 1.5 h you will reach the catered mountain hut “Aifner Alm”. The hut itself is accessible via a ramp, however, after rainfall the path leading up to it may be washed out in places. The toilet can be accessed by mounting one step. The corridor is very narrow due to a box. The toilet can be accessed by wheelchair but there is not sufficient space for turning circles.
