Start
Community centre Wenns (1002m)
Finish
Community centre Wenns (1000m)
The start of this circular route is the Community centre Wenns. The first kilometres of the route are a leisurely downhill ride on a forest road and only once you pass the Pitzenhöfe hamlet will you encounter the first incline towards Leins. From there ride on a tarmac road to Wald for a short while and cross the Benni-Raich bridge (94 m high) to Arzl. Once there, continue to cycle on the Pitztal Bike Route to your starting point.
Arzler Alm Route 611
Start
St. Leonhard/Scheibe (1396m)
Finish
Arzler Alm (1890m)
Start in Scheibe at “Gasthof zur Einkehr” restaurant. The 3.7 km long uphill hike to the catered mountain hut Arzler Alm leaves hardly any opportunity for a breather. The route has an average of 13% incline and despite a dense forest protecting it from direct sunlight, hikers will certainly work up a sweat!
The condition of the mostly graveled roads is very good but caution should be exercised on your way down, especially in the bends. Arzler Alm affords fantastic panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.
