Neururer cross-country skiing trail

Glacier cross-country skiing trail
Altitude training: between 2,690 m and 2,740 m you can improve your stamina over 50 metres of elevation gain
Infrastructure and facilities: there are changing rooms and space to wax your cross-country skis as well as toilets at Mittelbergjoch railway station.
Course of the trail: Access via Glacier Express up to 2,840 m (please note that special tickets for hikers and cross-country skiers can be purchased). Once on the glacier you can reach the top station of the 6-seater chairlift in around 100 m. This chairlift will take you to the start of the glacier cross-country skiing trail. The access point is behind the bottom station of the the 8-seater gondola lift on 2,690 m and the trail runs in more or less even ascents up to its highest point at 2,740 m. The chairlift will comfortably return you to the mountain station of the Glacier Express.
Talloipe cross-country skiing trail
Hubertus cross-country skiing trail
This is a rather demanding trail with set tracks for classic skiing and set skate skiing tracks in places. It meanders over 7.5 km in length through the partially thick forest areas. After approximately 2 km skiers reach a small clearing and the trail runs over a demanding ascent to the “Harbeweiher” pond. After a short loop around the frozen lake and a further ascent, the highest point of the cross-country skiing trail is reached. From there the trail again runs through dense forests back to the stating point. This cross-country skiing trail is ideal for nature lovers with adequate stamina.
Tschirgant circular route
Duration: 2-3 hours
Piller circular route
Start off at the civic centre in Wenns and continue via Piller Sattel (1,560 m) in the direction of Fließ.
From there continue to cycle on the country road to Landeck. Cycle through this district’s capital further to Zams and past several small villages all the way to Imst.
Pitztal is signposted again from Imst and you will reach your starting point after crossing the striking Pitztal bridge and Arzl, the first town of Pitztal valley.

Hahntennjoch circular route
The tour starts with a steep ascent over ca. 15 kilometres to the Hahntennjoch ridge (1,894 m). It’s a descent from there down to Elmen in Lechtal valley and then cycling out of the valley in the direction of Reutte to Stanzach. Once in Stanzach, follow a narrow picturesque alpine pass through the Namloser valley to Berwang. Continue to cycle downhill to Bichlbach via Lermoos and Biberwier until you reach the Fernpass road (B179). After a short ascent to the Fernpass Höhe peak, you will pass Nassereith and the Gurgltal and leisurely coast back to the starting point.

"Kaunertaler Glacier road" route
Start off at the civic centre in Wenns and cycle via Piller Sattel (1,560 m) in the direction of Kauns in Kaunertal. Once there, cycle on the Kaunertal country road all the way to the toll point and then continue to cycle on the private road up to Kaunertaler Glacier on 2,750 m.
Then continue via the same route for the time being all the way to Kauns and straight on to Prutz. Once there, turn right onto the Bundesstraße [A-road] in the direction of Fließ. From then on cycle uphill again to Piller Sattel and leisurely coast dowhill to Wenns.
