Starting point: Car park in the direction of Fließ.
Cross the road and hike with your snow shoes on a steep snowy forest path, across wintry alpine meadows to the catered mountain hut Gogles Alm which you will approach from the back. It is only a few metres to the main entrance from there with its glorious sun terrace. Enjoy homemade culinary delights at 2,017 m with breath-taking views of the winter scenery.

Follow the prepared winter hiking trail from the Piller fishpond up to the Gogles Alm. Return either via the same route or cover the distance with the sledge. You can rent a toboggan at the Piller fishpond or directly at the Gogles Alm.

Starting from the sports grounds in Imst, cycle in the direction of Nassreith through the Gurgltal valley. Follow the Bundesstraße [A-road] B189 until you reach the highest point of this tour, the Holzleitensattel ridge. Cycle downhill to Obsteig on a fast descent. From there continue to cycle via the Mieminger Plateau all the way down to Telfs. Return to your starting point via the Inntal valley following Bundesstraße [A-road] B171, mostly on flat terrain with only a few short ascents.

Piller circular route

Route description:
Start off at the civic centre in Wenns and continue via Piller Sattel (1,560 m) in the direction of Fließ.
From there continue to cycle on the country road to Landeck. Cycle through this district’s capital further to Zams and past several small villages all the way to Imst.
Pitztal is signposted again from Imst and you will reach your starting point after crossing the striking Pitztal bridge and Arzl, the first town of Pitztal valley.
Duration: 2-3 hours

Route description:
The tour starts with a steep ascent over ca. 15 kilometres to the Hahntennjoch ridge (1,894 m). It’s a descent from there down to Elmen in Lechtal valley and then cycling out of the valley in the direction of Reutte to Stanzach. Once in Stanzach, follow a narrow picturesque alpine pass through the Namloser valley to Berwang. Continue to cycle downhill to Bichlbach via Lermoos and Biberwier until you reach the Fernpass road (B179). After a short ascent to the Fernpass Höhe peak, you will pass Nassereith and the Gurgltal and leisurely coast back to the starting point.
